Notice is hereby given this First day of April 2009, pursuant to the Utah Noxious Weed Act, Section 7, to every person who owns or controls land in Grand County, Utah, that noxious weeds standing, being, or growing on such land shall be controlled and the spread of same prevented by effective cutting, tillage, cropping, pasturing, or treating with chemicals or other effective methods, or combination thereof, approved by the County Weed supervisor, as often as may be required to prevent the weed from blooming and maturing seeds, or spreading by root, root stalks or other means.

Construction on the North Moab Recreation Areas – Courthouse Wash to SR-313 project will begin Monday August 2, 2010. This project will pave a recreational trail from the SR-191 Courthouse Wash Bridge to the intersection of SR-191 and SR-313. This recreational trail will follow the old Moab Canyon roadway alignment (old SR-450/SR-160). The existing trail within Moab Canyon will be closed during the construction of this project. This closure will start on Monday August 2, 2010 and will last the duration of the project ending early October. The Bar M road and the remainder of the Bar M trail system will remain open.
Millcreek Drive from Murphy Lane to Holyoak will be closed for approximately 128 calendar days.

The Dewey Bridge Restoration Committee has announced a challenge donation pledge of $900 towards completion of the construction drawings needed for the project. This challenge pledge will be deposited with the Grand County Clerk upon receipt of an additional $2,700 in donations.
