Responsibilities

The Grand County I.T. Department is tasked with overseeing all aspects relating to the variety of general, advanced, complex and technical duties required to support Grand County Information Systems. General duties include the Installation and Maintaining Equipment & Services- including, but not limited to, PC’s, Mobile Devices, Servers, Security Systems, Networks, Websites, Telephone, Conferencing, Email, and Peripherals. The I.T. Department is also tasked with overseeing all other aspects of I.T. System Functions, Solution Development and Procedures related to Technology Use, such as: File Management, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Consultation, Licensing, Support Agreements, Subscriptions, Access Permissions, Computer & Network Security, Programming, Operations and other related functions as required.

The Information Technology (IT) Department is not a formal Department but rather a division of the County Council Administrator Office.
