February 2012 Grand Center Happenings

• Feb 3 - Cardgivers Support Group - 4:00pm
• Feb 8 - Health Day - 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Blood oxygen provided by Community Nursing, for nail clinic appointment call 259-0466. Blood pressure is provided by Rocky Mtn. Home Health. (Thank you for this service.)
• Feb 8 - Lunch at La Sal Senior Center
• February 13th - Bring a Friend Week - February 13th starts Bring a Friend Week. The goal is to bring as many friends that to encourage new people to come to the Center. There are rules - they must be over 50, not related and have not been to the Center in the last 6 months. At the end we will count how many friends you have brought and give a prize to the one with the most.
• Feb 13 - Council on Aging - 12:30 pm in the Council Room
• Feb 15 - Movie Day - After lunch
• Feb 20 - Closed for Presidents Dat
• Bingo - Monday and Friday after lunch
• Cards - After lunch most days
• Exercise Classes:
  
  • Walking Aerobics - Monday, Wednesday & Friday @ 8:20 am
  • Moderate free weight training with Strong Women Stay Young - Mon., Wed. and Fri at 9:00am
    
  • Tai Chi Exercise Class - 10:00am Mon, Tues, Wed & Fri
  • Qi-gong Exercise Class - Tuesdays at 1:00pm & 2:00pm for Advanced Class
• Card Stamping - Fridays at 9:30am in the Craft Room
• Ceramics Class - Every Tuesday @ 10:00am

Congregate meals served to groups where socialization is encouraged 12:00, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday. Remember the Salad Bar is served Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday. No second trips to the salad bar. Over 60 meals are a suggested donation of $2.50 and under 60 is $6.00.
