Grand County Planning Commission will hold regular Planning
Commission meetings at 6:00 p.m. on the second and fourth
Wednesdays of the month. All +Planning Commission meetings will
be held in the Council Chambers of the Grand County Courthouse,
125 East Center, Moab, Utah unless there is a conflict and
we will post the change of venue the day of the meeting.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Grand County Planning Commission will meet on the second and Fourth Wednesday of each Month. Meetings will begin at 6:00 P.M. and will be held at the Grand County Council Chambers of the County Courthouse, 125 East Center Street Moab, Utah.
Individuals with special need requests who would like to participate in the Planning Commission meetings are encouraged to contact the Community Development office three (3) days in advance of these meetings. Specific accommodation necessary to allow participation of disabled persons will be provided to the maximum extent possible. T.D.D. (Telecommunication Device for the Deaf) calls can be answered at (435) 259-1343.
Grand County is accepting applications for a volunteer position on the Board of Adjustment. The Board of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial body which serves to hear and decide appeals of administrative land use code decisions and the permitting of variances. Interested applicants should be available to meet the first Monday of each month. Additional meetings may be called by the Chair in response to specific petitions, to review general Board procedures, and for training purposes.
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Be a resident and registered voter of Grand County for at least two (2) years prior to serving on the Board;
- Have a genuine interest in the planning and zoning of the County; and
- Have the ability to work with the public and devote time to this service.
Interested residents of Grand County should send a completed Certification and Application Form, available on www.grandcountyutah.net or in the County Council Office, to: Grand County Council Office, Attn: Shawn Warnke, 125 E. Center Street, Moab, UT 84532. Positions open until filled. Applications must be submitted to the County Council Office at the aforementioned address by March 14th at 5:00 pm to be considered for March 18th Council appointment.
