Stephan Zacharias, History Programs Interpreter at Moab Museum, researched and delivered an execellent presentation on Grand County Fair history and a few of the indiviuals involved with planning and organizing the very 1st Grand County Fair in 1922.

Grand County Fair 2023 Carquest Car and Tractor Show
Carquest hosted the County Fair's 2023 Car and Tractor Show. Jessica Wilson and her team put together an amazing show with great autos and tractors. Thank you to all the particpants who entered their vehicles and tractors in the show. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

2023 Grand County Fair Cutest Baby Ambassadors
We were unable to declare a winner of this year's county fair cutest baby contest, but we would like to take a minute to show our appreciation to all the cute babies who honorably represented the county. Here is a sample of the contestants who were given permission to be published:
2023 Grand County Fair Rescue Dogs
Underdog Rescue volunteers joined us for their very own dog show at Grand's 2023 County Fair. They brought 7 of some of their amazing rescue dogs.

2023 Grand County Fair 4th of July Parade
There were 32 parade entries. Entries ranged from clubs, organizations, local businesses, community residents, government representatives, land management agencies, law enforcement, first responders, equestrian, motorized and pedestrian.
1st Place Parade Winner - Annie, Zekiah and Chester the Donkey
2nd Place Parade Winner - Division of State Parks and Division of Recreation
3rd Place Parade Winner - Grand County Fair Drill Team

2023 County Fair Sponsors
Grand County provided the staff, the facility and funds to host the event.
City of Moab sponsored the parade and the Crafter’s Corner.
Carquest Moab Auto Parts sponsored the Car and Tractor Show.
Red Rock'n Blue Rodeo Team hosted the Jr. Rodeo.
Dynatrac submitted a monetary donation for equipment and supplies.
USU Extension in coordination with the 4-H Clubs hosted the maker’s exhibits and 4-H Stock Show.
Youth Garden Project hosted a gardening exhibit demonstrating closed loop food cycle, worm compost bin and veggie tasting.
Underdog Rescue sponsored and hosted the Underdog Dog show.
The Beehive Skate Revolution sponsored and hosted the Red, White and Bruised Roller Derby.
Stephan Zacharias of the Moab Museum researched and presented Local Moab Legacy Honorees.
Wheeler Machinery Co. provided Light Trees and a Generator.
Performance Ford of Moab sponsored the trucks for County Commissioners in parade and donated a bike and tools for raffle items.
Red Rock 4 Wheelers provided crowd fencing and transportation for staff and volunteers.
City Market donated the food for the eating contests.
Bombtown sponsored, built and hosted the RC obstacle course and raffle items.
Moab Fire Department brought in fire trucks and firefighters to hose the crowd down on the 4th of July.
Grand County EMS volunteered crew for the Roller Derby.
Moab Ice donated ice for the event.
Moab Brewery provided food for the volunteers.
Canyon Pizza Co. provided food for the volunteers.
El Tapatio provided food for the volunteers.
Packard Wholesale Co. provided supplies for the volunteers.
Coca Cola provided drinks for the volunteers.
Wild Raven Soap Co. submitted a monetary donation for supplies.
Hampton Inn provided lodging our guests from Scales and Tails.
Homewood Suites provided lodging for our guests from Scales and Tails.
Apache Motel provided lodging for our guests from Scales and Tails.
Aarchway Inn provided lodging for our guests in the Lost Junction and Sean Moon Bands.
Moab City Recreation provided a popcorn machine for movie night, volleyballs for the tournament and staff for softball tournament.
Parriott’s Garage provided a Power Wheels car for the Power Wheels demolition derby.
Nation’s Towing provided 2 Power Wheels cars for the power wheel demolition derby.
Moab Mobile Mechanic provided a Power Wheels car for the power wheel demolition derby.
Henderson Leasing Co. donated a helium tank.
JTS Media donated time to take pictures at some of the events.
Bower Motorsports Media sponsored the softball tournament coin toss.
