The Planning and Zoning Department administers land use and development applications in the unincorporated areas of Grand County and ensures that the area develops in accordance with the County's General Plan and Land Use Code .

UPDATE regarding public meetings and public hearings in Grand County
All public meetings and public hearings will occur in person at the County Commission Chambers at 125 E. Center St. AND via a Virtual Meeting format (Zoom). Each meeting agenda provides a link for the meeting or call-in information for members of the public to provide oral comment during the meeting. All Planning Commission and County Commission meetings are also broadcasted live on YouTube and recordings are archived on the Grand County Utah YouTube channel.
