Office of Emergency Management

Purpose

To unite the emergency management community and to coordinate the efforts necessary to mitigate, prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies, disasters and catastrophic events. We meet regularly as a Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) with regional stakeholders.

CURRENT DEPARTMENT UPDATE:

FLOODING DANGERS: As we have entered the monsoon season, flooding potential is a concern. Sandbags can help protect your property, and are offered for free from Grand County Sheriff's Office and Grand County Roads Department.
