2022 PRIMARY ELECTION - 6/28/2022



March 31st Last day to switch party affiliation for the Primary Election 

NOTICE: To vote in a Political Party's Primary Election, voters must be affiliated with their preferred party by March 31, 2022. Party Affiliation changes will not be allowed between April 1, 2022 and June 29, 2022. Utah Code 20A-2-107(2)(f) 

June 14th Ballots will have gone out in the mail, registered/eligible voters should receive a ballot in the mail around this date.  Voters who have not received a ballot should verify/update their voter registration or contact the Grand County Clerk's Office at 435-259-1321 as soon as possible. This will allow time to correct any issues and mail you a new ballot. 

June 17th Last day to register to vote and receive a ballot by mail. Registrations must be received in the elections office by 5:00 pm. 

June 22nd - June 27th Early/In-Person Voting period. Early/In-Person Voting will open at the Grand County Clerk's Office from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm. Also beginning 6/22, registration by provisional ballot will be available. 

June 27th Vote-by-Mail postmark deadline. 

June 28th ELECTION DAY. The Grand County Clerk's Office will be open from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm for ballot drop-off, in-person voting, and if you are not registered, registration by a provisional ballot.  In-person ballot drop-off also available on election day at the Castle Valley Town Building from 9am-7pm.

How to Vote:

By Mail: Postmarked no later than June 27th 

 - Place your ballot in the mail, no need for a stamp! 

Drop Box: Located at the Grand County Courthouse and Castle Valley Town Building

- Beginning 6/14, a ballot drop box will be located at the Grand County Clerk's Office.  A ballot drop box will also be available on election day 6/28 at the Castle Valley Town Building from 9am-7pm.

Early/In-Person Voting: 

- If you receive a by mail ballot there is no additional benefit to coming in person. Early/In-Person Voting period is 6/22-6/27 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Election Day 6/28 from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
