On Sunday, March 26, 2017, Grand County Sheriff’s Office Investigators were made aware of two(2) male subjects who had received emergency care for the ingestion of an unknown substance. Investigators learned that the substance was alleged to have been an illegal narcotic. A search warrant was obtained for a residence in Grand County believed to be associated with the distribution/possession of this substance. Two people were taken into custody at that time, a male juvenile and an adult female. The juvenile was referred on the charge(s) of 1: Distribution of a Schedule IV Synthetic Narcotic 2: Evidence tampering 3: Reckless endangerment( 2 counts). The adult female, Marlee Ann Swink was booked on the charge(s) 1: Obstruction of Justice and 2: Possession or use of drug paraphernalia. The case is still under investigation.
