NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE - GRAND COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT

The GRAND COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.

• The GRAND COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT tax on a $449,000 residence would increase from $1,258.21 to $1,362.92, which is $104.71 per year.
• The GRAND COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT tax on a $449,000 business would increase from $2,287.66 to $2,478.03, which is $190.37 per year.
• If the proposed budget is approved, GRAND COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 9.53% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth.

All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
