Description:
Grand County is accepting sealed bids for the construction of all required infrastructure improvements associated with the Wingate Village Subdivision. Bid specifications are available at http://www.grandcountyutah.net/bids.aspx or at the Clerk’s Office at 125 E Center, Moab, Utah, 84532. For bid process information, call Zacharia Levine, Community and Economic Development Director at (435) 259–1371. For technical information call Project Engineer, Rob Harries at (970)247-1705. The DEADLINE FOR BIDS is August 21, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. Bids will be publicly opened and read August 22, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. in the Clerk’s Office. This project is funded in whole or in part by a grant through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The contractor will be required to comply with all federal labor standards and attendant laws, including the payment of the most current Davis-Bacon wages and compliance with Section 3 to provide employment opportunities for lower income persons and small business. Local, minority and woman owned business owners are encouraged to bid. The lowest responsible bidder with adequate experience and capacity will be selected. Grand County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informality in any bid, which in the opinion of Grand County shall best serve the interest of Grand County. Send sealed bids to the Clerk/Auditor (address above) with “Grand County Wingate Village Infrastructure Improvements” clearly marked on outside of envelope.
